Dr. Keighley Reisenauer

is the Communications Director for Iylon.

Keighley Reisenauer is a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at Baylor University and the Communications Specialist for Iylon. Keighley earned her PhD in 2021 under the guidance of Dr. Joseph Taube and her dissertation work studied the differential targeting of chemoresistant and EMT-derived breast cancer stem cells via a fungus-derived small molecule called Ophiobolin A. Throughout her time as a graduate student, she was heavily involved in science communication and outreach initiatives such as co-founding a graduate outreach organization, Present Your PhD, and her 2020 Science Communication Fellowship with the National Center for Science Education. She also has an extensive background in social media and online communication including website management for her doctoral lab, several outreach organizations, and a COVID-communication campaign, as well as writing for the online oncology blog OncoBites.

Keighley is now turning her attentions to spreading awareness about precision oncology through the Iylon lens, connecting patients and practitioners to this innovative field of medicine.
